No medals, but refugee Olympians showed the world their story

This story by Benja Snyder takes a look at refugee athletes who participated in the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro last summer.

"All athletes did compete but none advanced to the final stages of their competitions," Snyder wrote. "Unlike their fellow Olympians from more developed and peaceful regions in the world, they simply didn’t have the resources in their home countries and the luxury of a stable life.

"These athletes highlighted the serious refugee crisis that is going on right now, they let the world know that it’s time to act.The Refugee Olympic Team didn’t receive any medals, but they won our attention."
