Here today (so do something)
I believe that many people nowadays do recognize the the refugee crisis as a problem to be solved, but they don’t do anything about it — they just stand by, waiting it out, probably thinking that one day someone else will come up with a magical answer that will solve all of this in an instant.
So this is why I did this political cartoon, along with the text “‘Here Today, Gone Tomorrow — not for this problem!”
This isn’t a crisis that will miraculously disappear: People have to do something about this, not just stand by and watch as people who need help suffer.
